“Strength and vulnerability are not mutually exclusive, but rather coexist within us.” - Ayesha Kazim

Ayesha Kazim, a photographer working between New York City, Cape Town, and London, utilises analog and digital mediums to capture the intimate, vulnerable, and transient moments of everyday life. As a photographer with Nigerian and South African roots, she finds that her intersectional identity deeply influences her work.

“I believe that my varied background enables me to see beyond the surface, to understand and depict the nuanced stories of individuals and communities. My goal is always to produce work that is not only visually striking, but also emotionally relatable across different cultures.” - Ayesha Kazim
